It was 1985, movies like "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo" and "Krush Groove" were in theaters. I never understood how people could wear polo shirts with them. A pink Women's Izod top just doesn't look right with yellow parachute pants.

Man, my mom used to dress like Jackee, a pair of earrings to match every dress. I still have some of her old dresses. My favorite was the green lace dropped waist one, she'd wear with these gold doorknockers and slick her hair (in a jherri curl) in a ponytail with one of those big "Heathers" bows.
I literally think I'd really wear everything listed, except those parachute pants. My cousin Jermaine got injured in a pair of those once. We were playing at his mama's house (he was 13, I was about 5) and a strong wind caught his pants just right. Blew him against a tree. LOL.
