The animated Fraggle Rock series was aired for one season on NBC's Saturday morning lineup in 1987.
...and not in the UK.

And don't you just miss the old-school way of cartoon animation - they all had that artful and detailed Disney feel about them. Nowadays all cartoons look like Manga and drawn in abstract ways - all very disturbing for children in my opinion.

Some of the stuff I watched here in (back then West) Germany in my childhood days that weren't mentioned yet:
- The adventures of the Galaxy Rangers (1986-89)
- Bravestarr (1987-88)
- Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs (1984 -85, 1987-88)
- Starcom: The US Space Force (1987 Though I just read that it wasn't aired until 1991 in Germany...)
And probably some more which I can't recall right now. :D

Hmm, I don't remember any of these '80s cartoons that you mentioned. I guess the cartoons were different in Germany. :)

There were many good cartoons back then. I remember cartoons being aired on Saturday mornings on the network channels and on Mon. through Fri. & Sun. on the local channels.
