My God, how do you remember this?  I was 11 by the time the 80's ended, and I'm sure I couldn't remember half the movies I saw.  You sure did see a ton of movies!  And multiple times for many of them.  That's awesome!  What great memories you must have of this.  It was fun to read your list.

My parents didn't take me the movies very often when I was really little.  It wasn't until I was old enough to go by myself that I started seeing a lot of them.

There are movies that I watched so many times on TV and VHS when I was a kid that I have a hard time remembering whether or not I saw them in the movies first.  One of those would be "The Last Starfighter".

There was a movie that I saw that took place in space, and I can only remember one scene, which was the spaceship going across the screen from the right to the left.  ;D  I've never been able to figure out which movie it was, though I guess it could have been Return of the Jedi...

I do remember seeing The Last Starfighter in 1984 at the local (now defunct) Drive-In.  I ended up falling asleep and never saw the ending (Give me a break.  I was 6 and very tired lol).  When the movie's 25th anniversary came on Blu-Ray, I purchased it and watched the whole thing for the first time ever lol

No.  He did take me to see those movies. 
There are several movies in there that my dad took me and my brother to see that we shouldn't have seen.

My earliest memory was going to see Popeye with Robin Williams as a 4 yr old in 1980.

Other standouts... ET, Tron, He-Man & the Masters of the Universe, Santa Claus the Movie, Willow, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I'm wondering if I ever saw any of the Star Wars trilogy... hmmm. I wish they'd re-release those in theatres. I remember they did in the late 90s with new CGI effects.

I remember in 1988 I went to see Coming To America with Arsenio Hall & Eddie Murphy.
