My favourite is still Wave Babies. Guitarist Derry Grehan wrote it while the band was staying at a motel in Trenton, Ontario. Being that the song is about girls on a beach, they filmed the video for it at Sandbanks Beach in Picton Ontario, which is about a 40 minute drive from Trenton. The opening scene of the video was shot at the Glenora Ferry, which is about a 20 minute drive from where I live. Everytime I go on that ferry, I have to play Wave Babies, however, the last time I was there (3 weeks ago), I forgot to listen to it lol
When I was a kid and I'd go to Sandbanks in the mid 80s, I always used to hear that song being played, so much that I used to joke it was the official song of Sandbanks. I guess in a way, it kind of is

I'm more surprised that of the US hits they had, the title song from Lethal Weapon was not one of them. That was one of the biggest movies of that year

Some really good songs on the list.
I liked "Stay in the light" and "What does it take" very much, those are my 2 favorites. "Wave babies" was also good. When he sang "Waaaaaaaave babies" in the chorus..it's so "80s". Very cool. 8)

Love Changes Everything, New girl now, Feel it again, all good song. Good Canadian band, still gets lots of radio time on the FM radio station Q-107, from Toronto. Can you get Q-107 from where you live, Jason?

Not through a radio, but somewhere in the 300s on my TV channels, I can get Q107 and 98.1 CHFI
Does Q107 still do the Homegrown contest? I have this one from 1987 on cassette ...

Just regular cable. I can also get 104.5 CHUM FM. I discovered these by accident one day
