Subject: 80's R&B Artists...

Hi Y'all,
I need some help. I'm still at work on my novel, and I notice I keep using the same handful of artists on the radio and I need the names of more singers/bands that my characters can listen to.
I've wrung out:
Any and all Jacksons
Prince
Diana Ross
Smokey Robinson
Lionel Richie
Donna Summer
The Time
I know there's more singers than that, or my radio DJ needs to be fired in my story! LOL.
Please help! Thank you. (I need people popular between late '83, and the early months of '84.)
