Subject: 80s Instrumentals
Written By: whistledog on 09/02/13 at 8:45 am
I am sure this already exists, but I'm too lazy to look. Plus, why not get a fresh perspective. Lots of good 80s Instrumentals out there ...
Charles Fox - Seasons
(Philip Eno would like this one; It is based on Pachelbel's Canon in D)

Frank Mills - The Happy Song

Exchange - Into the Night (1987)
despite it's non chart appearance, I still remember this one very well

Pachelbel's Canon is one of the most beautiful music pieces ever written.

Here was a track that was released around 1986/87 that was often used in a number of TV promos (especially for dramatic series on NBC) and commercials around the late 1980s. It's part of the corporate "Network Music" company that basically supplied background music for companies to add for ads, trailers, and television promos.
