I can name several which I enjoy...
Break It Down Again - Tears For Fears (1993)
Regret - New Order (1993)
Wind Of Change - Scorpions (1991)
It's My Life - Bon Jovi (2000)... which actually contains an indirect reference to their 1986 hit "Livin' on a Prayer" with the names Gina and Tommy
Wonderful - Adam Ant (1995)
Maria - Blondie (1999)
...and plenty more which I'll think of later.

Beautiful by Platinum Blonde (2012)
Note: I'm trying not to get too "excited" about Mark Holmes appearing bare chested in this video because that's only one of the reasons why I like this music video. ;D

A couple of nice "comeback" hits (with the respective bands' original lineups back together, I think?); I remember 'em both. :)

Actually Roland and Curt were the only ones in T4F who reunited. I don't think Manny and Ian were too terribly interested in a reunion.
Duran Duran did reunite for a little while but then Andy had a hissy fit about working with Justin Timberlake and Timberland and he just decided that he didn't want to do it anymore.
And Platinum Blonde had planned to perform a reunion show at the Mod Club and rehearsals were to start the Monday before they had discovered that Kenny MacLean had died over the weekend. :( So really what they did wasn't really a reunion of sorts because they're missing two members of their band Kenny and Chris Steffler who's being treated for tinnitus. :(

I see. Even so, I usually think of Roland and Curt as the key members. Btw, today was Roland Orzabal's 52nd birthday. http://www.inthe00s.com/Smileys/newyears/smiley.gif

Yep, sometimes reunions like that are short lived. :-\\

Yep. Especially when certain band members have egos the size of the Suez Cannal which is what I think happened between Andy and the rest of the band. It's the very same thing that broke up Roland and Curt and Platinum Blonde.
Platinum Blonde were just starting to arrange a get together to talk about getting the band back together to finish what was left unfinished when Kenny MacLean died suddenly. :-\\ It was so horrible to see just how heart broken Mark Holmes actually was. He couldn't even finish his acceptance speech into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame without having a complete and total breakdown.
"It's still hard to talk about....I miss him so much. We've decided because of Kenny that we would get back together. It was very difficult. He always wanted us to get back together. It was great to play the other night and we wish that Kenny was there.
Fame is fleeting, hit records come and go, thank you so much for making what we did perminant. Thank you."
Kenny was actually the one who was leading the charge to get the band back together. He was the one calling everyone to ask if they wanted to get back together. I saw that "you won't see me cry" crap that Sergio was pulling off with his sunglasses and everything. I thought that was all an act in order to not seem as vulnerable as Mark was. :(

I did not expect this. I was totally unprepared. Working backwards like that, all Journey songs from 1980 and onward would fall under the category of non 70s songs by 70s artists lol. Journey is technically a 70s band, they just had their biggest known songs in the 80s. Karma to you for confusing me :D

Well they did get started then, but had most of their success in 80s.

Thanks; right back atcha. ;)
I had a few other pre-80s songs in mind by artists who are primarily associated with the 80s, such as "Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel.

WARNING: EXTREMELY BAD TASTE ALERT!!!
WZpoQhiiO2g
1990: This was their final attempt to break into the US market and shed their "teeny bopper" image with a more mature sound at the same time.
It didn't seem to me like any of this was working because they ended up looking like a bunch of man whores with Mark in the chaps and the one ass cheek jeans and Sergio looking like a pimp. :( The only two who looked "normal" in this video were Kenny and Sasha. :(
