Most people seem to prefer the first film.  However, I feel this one is underrated.  It has a fun story and superb singing by most of the actors.  Does anyone here like Grease 2? 

I love Grease 2.  To be honest, I like it better than Grease. 

I adored the original "Grease". Great songs, and Olivia Newton-John in leather.    Grease 2 was OK but it could never live up to Grease. The standard was so high.  Grease in one of my favorite movies from the 1970s.  I've watched it at least 10 times.

You are my favorite person right now. Grease 2 is an avsolute fav of mine. I completely adore it and prefer it over the first one!!!

I have the sound track on my iPod & iPhone & iPad and I can recite virtually every line of the film.
I also own it on VHS laser disc and DVD

I'm the opposite I've seen Grease less than 10x I've seen grease 2 no less than 50x. I'm not exaggerating.

But don't panic, this report was from 2000, and is thankfully dead in the water and will never happen.  And I actually do not put much into that reporting in the first place.  ONJ was already a star, with a string of #1 songs and albums.  And the same with John Travolta, being in not only one of the biggest hits the year before (Saturday Night Fever), but one of the most popular TV shows at the time (Welcome Back Kotter).

This is what happens when a reporter does not bother to do any research and simply makes things up.

Greese 2 is one of my guilty pleasures. In many ways I do like it better than the first one.

They would more than likely update the franchise. If the did a sequel- reunion of franchise - or they could do a movie set 40 trs after graduation and we'd see where the characters went after graduation. Lots of story line there Vietnam, hippie culture, the 80s. Etc. it could work.

Tash- live blogging movies. A few of us would schedule a time to be on line and all start the movie at relatively the same time and just start talking about it. It was fun.
