I'm just taking a poll.  :)

My original impression of Duran Duran wasn't great. I think the first Duran Duran song that hit it big in North America was "Hungry Like The Wolf". I didn't mind it, but after that seems all their songs sounded the same to me  :-[

After  3 to 5 years or so, I learned to appreciate their music more and I liked a few of their songs. I guess they grew on me.  ;D

When MTV first arrived on the scene, I used to listen to it as I was getting ready for work in the morning. And EVERY morning they would play Hungry Like the Wolf. To this day, when I hear that song, I think of getting ready for work.


I also remember one radio station playing that song and the DJ said, "Either that woman is in great pain or great pleasure."  ;D ;D ;D ;D

My #1 favourite is 'Hungry Like the Wolf', but not just Hungry Like the Wolf, but the original Night Version that appears on the original Harvest LP version of the RIO album that was releasd for the North American market.  I only accept this version of the song because the song itself is so good, the radio/video version is just too short

Second choice would be 'Rio' followed by the album only track 'The Chauffer'.  All three songs from the RIO album from 1982, which to me is one of the two greatest albums of the 80s!

I like "Come Undone" the best of their big hits, but I guess that was 1993.

Too bad this isn't a music video poll. I would have chosen "Planet Earth".

I went with Girls on Film, Rio, and Hungry Like the Wolf. Mainly because those are the ones I'm always singing on the music games like Rock Band and Singstar.
