Subject: Anybody in from the UK?
Written By: FredTransit on 12/01/12 at 10:13 am
OK I am new but I did do the proving thing (obviously, I am posting) but can't use the search so thought I would ask. Is this a mailnly US site? I know it's a .com but many sites in the UK are too. So shout out for the UK members?

The reason I ask is I am a collector and supplier of 80s vehicles, but they might not mean anything to US members. I got lots of pics :)

Yeah, I would say so. As a German, it's sometimes hard for me to relate to some threads; especially when it comes to discussions about politics, TV shows or brands which only exist in the US - and it seems it's the other way round, too and people can't relate to things I mention ;).
I am here because there is no such website like this in my country.

I actually had to google it. This car was probably common in the UK - I saw them a lot in older movies. In Germany however it was less common and today you don't see them anymore.

I don't know exactly... I was only born in the 80s :(
For some reason I associate them more with the UK. We had more Volkswagens over here...
