That one's a given since it's about going back to 1984.
-The Breakfast Club
The music. That STFU attitude that I remember observing when I was a little kid.
-Fast Times at Ridgemont High
The music. The kids all hanging out at the galleria. The video arcade shown in the opening credits.
-Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Eurodance sync music. The technology devices that were popular back then including answering machines, multiline phones, cordless phones, the frontdoor intercom system (those were so popular in my neighborhood growing up), and the first PCs.
-Flash Dance
80s dance music and legwarmers.
-Footloose
Today ladies over the age of the 13 can not get away with wearing white tights.
-Rainman
Tom Cruise wearing power suits.
-Sixteen Candles
Spandau Ballet's "True", men with feathered hair, and that kid wearing those dorky visor shades.
-When Harry Met Sally
Meg Ryan's permed hair! Bonus points when she had it in a semi-side ponytail.

I've just discovered Lovelines and it screams 80's to me! I like the movie because of the hot women (and because I look just like one of the bond guys. ;)). BTW, is it me or 80's women look hotter than women of today? Does it have to do with fashion!?

I've just discovered Lovelines and it screams 80's to me! I like the movie because of the hot women (and because I look just like one of the bond guys. ;)). BTW, is it me or 80's women look hotter than women of today? Does it have to do with fashion!?
I would say 21st century. But I wasn't very old in the 80s so I could be biased. After all, women in the 80s were like mothers to me LOL
