Subject: "It's the 80's" line in movies

You hear this line in some movies from 80's. I wonder if it's the first decade to do it? I don't know of any pre-80's movies that had lines, which referenced the decade.

In the movie Can't Stop the Music (1980), Steve guttenberg makes a reference to the decade being the 80s and it will be great
