Subject: looking to buy toys i lost as a kid
Written By: jhiggy on 08/18/11 at 2:23 pm
Hi everyone. I am looking for something i had as a kid. my older sister and i had matching dolls. they were plush Matryoshka dolls. you know, those russian dolls. i remember mine was slightly smaller than hers but both had red outfits. they didnt have arms or legs but it was just a print of the doll front and back then sewn together it was kind of flat not really human shaped. i wish to find these but i cant find any old ones. just new ones that people make. if i could find the fabric and make it myself that would work too. but i loved that doll and my sisters is now pregnant and i think it would be a great gift to give the baby something we loved as kids.

Maybe you're talking about Pillow People? They were rectangular shaped and they were plush like you described.

If I remember correctly they were hard plush not soft. (Ie no give when you hugged them) and they were shaped like a bowling pin or peanut.
