Tipper and PMRC complained about all those.  Cyndi Lauper got singled out particularly for obnoxious references to masturbation (gasp! heaven fore-fend!) and (probably) for making fun of PMRC in the "She Bop" video (SWAT: Suburban Wives Against Transgressors).

Meanwhile, our government was murdering nuns in Guatemala, but let's not sweat the small stuff.

I know there was another video out there.  Glam metal perhaps.  Women hanging by their wrists in some kind of medieval dungeon.  I just can't think of it.  It's driving me nuts!

I could swear I saw a video with a lot of women hanging by their wrists, but when I check out the usual suspects, it just ain't there.  See, I thought it might have been Billy Idol "Flesh for Fantasy," but that's just a lot of dancers with their arms raised.  Maybe Tipper tricked my mind!
