Hey Y'all!
I hope you can help me. I'm working on a story and it's set between the years of 1979 and 1981 and I was wondering do any of you know of any websites with pictures depicting hair, make up and fashion for both men and women that I can look to for inspiration? (and do my characters don't run around perpetually naked ;D ) All I know is that by late 79, flared legged trousers and afros were on thier way out.
Please help. Thank you!

If you can't find any websites you should try finding movies from that time...Friday the 13th, He Knows You're Alone (one of my favorites and Tom Hanks first movie role), Airplane, Caddyshack, Urban Cowboy, 9 to 5 and Fame are just a few titles that come to mind...I'm sure you could watch clips on YouTube.

True - a bit over the top! ;D But me as a 19 (almost 20) year old party girl at that time, I concur the clothes seen in this video for the most part looked like the style of party clothes we fashionistas all wanted to wear. (Although the leotards outfits weren't quite that mainstream.)
The hairstyles seen in the video - spot on.
BTW what's up with the invisible dog bit? LOL :D
