New album with Ocasek, Hawkes, Easton and Robinson out in May of this year. Benjamin Orr would be proud! Search Youtube for "Sad Song", "Blue Tip" and "Free". I am soooo freaking stoked!!!

I heard one cut from the new one on the radio and I was not impressed :( It sounded like a song that didn't make one of their earlier albums. It's a really hard thing with such a distinctive sound to stay true to that sound yet still feel new. I'm a big fan, but this just missed the mark for me.

So good to hear The Cars again! I've missed them...
I like Sad Song. Judging by the tracks I've listened to so far, this album is closer to a Panorama than a Heartbeat City...

It looks so much different than their other albums from the 80's.
