No, it wasn't awesome, but regardless, I did like it as it was typical fun 80's action.
Two reasons to love this film:
- The very nice looking Canadian talent that is Vanity
- The Debarge hit 'Rythm of the Night'

I love it... it's comic book genre brought to life and I think they captured the feeling perfectly!
Last night's How I Met Your Mother referenced it "Who's the Master Leroy?" and i frequently say "Kiss My Converse" Even tho I haven't worn a pair of Converse since 1991. lol
