just wondering as i'm going to an '80s party and i need to know if wearing them together would be okay or not?

Jelly shoes appeared around 1980, but peaked 1984-mid 1986 or so, and roughly spanned the calendar '80s. Acid jeans first appeared in 1985 but peaked in 1987-89, with a sharp dropoff in late 1991 due to the arrival of grunge. A bit different, but think of how typical '60s parties are when you may have early-mid decade things like Beatles haircuts and Beehive haircuts and late decade things like Tie-dye shirts mixed in.
I always associate Jelly Shoes with "Miami Vice '80s", and acid-washed jeans with "Hair Metal era '80s", however, but it still works at decade themed parties.

I remember the jelly shoes when I was in summer camp in the summers of 1989, 1991, and 1992!
