Subject: Tears for Fears on tour

I don't know if many of you'd heard, but this is a big deal.  Had you?  They're coming to the U.S. east coast in late summer.  They don't really tour very often from what I know, and they're lords (better term? let me know) of the 80s pop/new romantics, right up there with Duran Duran.  I missed my chance after the 2004 release, their first in many years.  Haven't looked to see yet if this tour precedes a new album or what's going on.

Tears for Fears best record was "The Hurting."  That was their masterstroke.  They had good solid hits after "The Hurting," but "The Hurting" is the album that holds together.  That's the Tears for Fears concert I would like to see.

Googled "Year of the Knife" for insight on the song's meaning, and this came up:

Year of the Knife", Tears For Fears
This song from The Seeds Of Love {almost a concept album about social and political injustice} is about the death of the king and the crisis it causes in a changing British society.

Whoa, guess I was WAY off.
