I've grew up in NYC and have been a big fan of New Wave since the early 80's.
I have great memories from those times...

Listened to WLIR and have a lot of songs that I kept on cassette.
Eventually transfered them to CD then to mp3.

Some of the tirles and bands were known.
And I recently found out the names of some of my favorites..."Say You Will" by Blanket Of Secrecy, "Softcore" by Maurice and the Cliches, "Right Now" by Hilary Blake and "Sex Beat" by Sex Beat.

But there are still a few that are unknown.

Tried searching with some lyrics and listening to XMs 1st Wave.

Any other suggestions as to where I might be able to find out the name of these New Wave songs?

HOW CRAZY!  I was just listening to some old mixed tapes that I taped from WLIR and the Higsons "Run Me Down" was on there!  That was just my favorite radio station growing up!

Many thank to everyone that figured out so many of these "long lost" (to me anyway) songs.
For me, the early 80s were a great time in my life...lots of fun, a great gf, WLIR and few responsibilities...

I am really surprised and thrilled that there are so many members that are knowledgeable and helpful New Wave fans.
