I remember jump rope games were popular back then too. I still remember some of them:
-Helicopter
-Double Dutch
-Kindergarten
-Banana Split
-"All in together girls. Just like the weather girls. When does your birthday come"
-"How much ginger ale did you have?" (count the amount of ginger ale according to the number of jumps)
-"I like coffee. I like tea. I like _ in with me" (just a two person game)
