Subject: music video, tape reels come to live

I remember a video in the early days of MTV in which tape reels come to life and devour a man. I've been doing extensive research and have only come upon one man suggesting that the video was for a song called "You're Not Ready". However, when I search this song, nothing of the sort comes up. Does anyone remember this video, or have any ideas as to who may have made it? Thanks!
