Through all his hits, I seem to listen to 'Giving Up on Love' the most, so I will pick that one. I grew up listening to Rick Astley and despite all the flack he gets today, I still like his music.
However, the best ever play on his music was the Back to the Future episode of Family Guy ...

So many good tracks - so hard to choose! I went for "Cry For Help" in the end. My second vote would've gone to "She Wants To Dance With Me". I loved his 2nd album best. I remember buying his 4th album, but wasn't very impressed.

You've been Rick-rolled! :D
Always enjoyed Rick's breezy, happy tunes. My vote goes to A Strong, Strong Man. :)

Inoffensive guy with inoffensive music who, rather shrewdly, made his money and got out quick!
'Cry For Help' is about the only one I can really listen to...
I must be the only person on earth who has the original version of 'Whenever You Need Somebody' by Ochi Brown from 1985...

I really love "Never Gonna give You Up"
When I first heard it, I could have sworn that Rick was a big Black man, something like Luther Vandross. I was shocked stupid when I saw he looked like he should be Clay Aiken's older brother.
But the man can sing, and that's what I dig! :)

"Together Forever" with "Take Me To Your Heart" and "Cry For Help" right behind.
Where's "My Arms Keep Missing You" ? No chart position? ??? :D

Where's "My Arms Keep Missing You" ?
On the flip of 'When I Fall In Love'
No chart position? ??? :D
It became the 'top' side after Christmas 1987 ('When I Fall In Love' was geared to this market), but by then, the single was sliding down the British chart...it's highest position was #11...
'Sad' enough for you? ;)

No. :D I just know it got some club play here and I've spun it a time or two on my show. 8)

I daresay it would have done just as well if it were given top-side status in the first place...
But the record company wanted something 'slushy' for the 'weenies', mums and dads, so that was that!
