And no, that's not a screenshot from last year's Olympics.
To give credit to the Chinese youth, it's Internet Maintenance Day. To make sure everything's harmonious, many Chinese blogs are voluntarily going down for maintenance for a couple of days. Or just, you know, for the usual reasons.
The Chinese know. They also know they're not allowed to talk about it. So they talk about it by not talking about it. Sometimes saying nothing can be every bit as strong a statement as saying something, provided you're sufficiently clever about how you say nothing. Life imitates the Simpsons, but in a good way.
