Sitcom comedian "Bea Arthur", who played the beloved character Dorothy in the Golden Girls, has passed away. . .may she rest in piece, a brilliant sharp comedian who never really aged, a loss to the comedy genre without question :-[

Say it ain't so! Bea was my favorite on the Goldne Girls. I identified the most with her. ( I have sharp wit too) I always wanted to meet her and now she's gone. :\'( I'll miss her. We just lost Estell eGetty and now this. I guess Doroty is with Ma now. :\'(

But the question is, if Stan shows up at Dorothy's funeral, who's going to say "OH, WHO CARES!?"
As an 11-year-old kid, it wasn't easy getting the remote off Mom on a Saturday Night! ::)
We're left with just Rose and Blanche now. :( Between Dorothy and Sophia, I don't know who I'll miss more. :-\\

I loved that show also. TNT I think shows a 2 hour block of the GG in syndication.
