Here are some of my favorite albums from the 1980's
She's so unusual - Cyndi Lauper

But seriously - Phil Collins
Hello, I must be going - Phil Collins
Tango in the night - Fleetwood Mac
Sports - Huey Lewis
The top 3 on my list are my favorites. They have at least 5 or 6 songs I really like.
What's your favorite from the 1980's?

Coqueta - good call on the Timbiriche ^
Here are a few of my favorites:
1. Japan - Gentlemen Take Polaroids (highly UNDERRATED masterpiece paving the way for Duran Duran)
2. A-ha - Scoundrel Days (IMO great album that many fellow Americans don't know this album)
3. A-ha - Stay On These Roads (IMO another strong album from Norwegian band).
4. Bryan Ferry - Boys And Girls (great solo effort)
5. Roxy Music - Avalon (yuppish, but I enjoy it)
6. The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta (more fun than the serious Syncronicity)
7. Dire Straits - Love Over Gold (I like it more than the Brothers In Arms).
8. Haircut 100 - Pelican West (so much fun and so 80s)
9. Phil Collins - No Jacket Required (very mainstream and very fun and cool)
10. Prefab Sprout - From Langley Park To Memphis (pure pop pleasure - from England)
11 Metallica - Master Of Puppets (unbelievable metal anthems)
12. Rush - Grace Under Pressure (my favorite Rush album and they have MANY good ones)
13. Steve Winwood - Arc of a Diver (I love the meanering rocking bluesy feel)
14. Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam - Self-Titled Album from 1985 (it basically started the Freestyle genre)
15. The Cure - Head On The Door (believe it or not I heard it for the first time 5 years ago - amazing!!!)
16. The Jesus And Mary Chain - Psychocandy (contains Just Like Honey - enough said)
17. Def Leppard - Pyromania (yes, I like it more than Hysteria)
18. Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction (released in 1987 and still charting singles in 1989, wow!!!)
19. Whitesnake - Whitesnake (IMO not a bad track on the album and it rocks)
20. Gun Club - Fire Of Love (punky and amazing)
Oh, and how foolish of me to forget ABC’s “Lexicon Of Love” and Beastie Boys “License To Ill”.

I think the '80s tended to have the best full albums (like to where songs beyond the radio singles were good alot of the time too). I liked most of these as a kid at the time:
Lionel Richie -Can't Slow Down
Phil Collins- No Jacket Required
Cyndi Lauper- She's so Unusual
Billy Ocean- Tear Down the Walls
Huey Lewis- Sports
Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
Cars - Heartbeat City
Madonna- True Blue
Steve Winwood- Back in the High Life
MJ - Thriller
Hall and Oates- Rock N Soul part 1 (I know it's a hits collection)
Prince-1999
Starship- Kneedeep in the Hoopla
Bruce Springsteen- Born in the USA
I like way more than that ofcourse, but usually only for the hits and not necesarilly the full album.

Mine too, even though I like the Thriller singles just a teeny bit more, Bad was a better album overall. Do you have the remastered version? I love "Streetwalker" and can't believe they left it off the original! ;)
