Howard Jones - New Song... my very first music purchase! I was only 7 too.
Still love Maniac big time to this day and Moonlight Shadow reminds me of car rides in my grandad's car.

I'll work to the assumption that this was (as tradition would have it) broadcast at 2pm Christmas Day 1983...
Therefore, two days previously (23rd) I would have been drunk as a lord! That was my first Christmas as a fully paid-up member of 'the working class' and as tradition would also have it, the Christmas binge over the local pub near work was in full swing!
I don't quite remember getting home that day, but according to my Ma, I had trouble staying upright when I eventually got there!
