As for your above link ... ^ ... that was regularly used over here ... as the background music for K-Mart tv commercials ! (until quite recently .. not sure if they still do) ;D

"Just around the corner" -- Awesome song
"If you were here tonight" - 1985 (R&B) -- Superb beyond words
R&B started getting good in the mid-late 80s (Rock/Pop started going downhill in the late 80s)
