Subject: 1980s Saturday Morning (non-cartoon) Show HELP!
Written By: Jeff W. on 08/06/08 at 9:03 pm
Odd question?
I remember a cool TV show that was on (I think ABC) in the 1980s in the mid-mornings that was kind of like an after school special with live actors, but with a horror theme.
I remember one episode were there was a kid in a saving magic shop that I always wanted to get on DVD or find it somewhere …
Does anyone know what show I am thinking of?
I think (there for I don’t remember) that Robert Keeshan (Captain Kangaroo) hosted a few episodes (I don’t think it was “CBS Storybreak” because that series was animated).
It was basically a 1980s version of the nickelodeon’s adaptation of the “Goosebumps” series, but better.
Does anyone know what and the ^%$# I am talking about?
Thanks,
-Jeff

Was it Tales From The Crypt? My boyfriend loves that show. He has the first few seasons on DVD.

I think it might be "Choose Your Own Adventure". It was non-cartoon they did mysteries and a bit of horror.
