Which Journey do you like better?
The first one is a guy that Neal found on you tube.
The second is of course Steve Perry.
Also you tube is having a behavior problem today so it may take a while to load.

I managed to get them timed perfectly but the new guy is rushing so he gets there faster. Steve Perry takes his time and lets us enjoy the song. Also tonally the new guy sucks his vocals are weak compared to Steve Perry. I mean if I heard him in a bar I wouldn't be pissed but he's just not Steve Perry.

without even looking at the video, Steve Perry. as for the other one, is it that Arnel Pineda guy, with long black hair and an a big voice. he is really good, but Steve did all their most well known and biggest hits.

I know but can you just imagine? singing in a bar and a big shot rock guy calls you up for an audition? I would go nuts! I also think he sounds weaker than Steve Perry.I predict this album will do okay, but but the novelty will wear off and it will go into the one hit wonder category, and eventually become what used to be called a"cut out" (remember those?) selling for a 1.00 somewhere.

Perry. Even though he's not much of a human being, he could sing like no one else.

In the U.K Steve Perry was always called the singing duck, I never understood why................

Journey will forever remind me of the pizza juke joints and roller rinks of my youth!

Steve Perry by a long shot.
But we do have to remember that Steve Perry wasn't the original lead vocalist for Journey.
This song still remains one of my favorites.

Thats right. I had vaguely remembered he wasn"t, had totally forgotten about Gregg Rollie...
They were so much different back then. Not as commercial and pop oriented better musically though.

I love Journey but have a difficult time listening to them because of all the painful memories attached to their music.

Well there ya go educating me again.... I'm only familiar with Steve Perry as lead singer.
I don't go searching out music I let it find me so usually I only hear the mainstream stuff.
