Oh man I'm literally laughing my ass off. I was gonna asked if he worked for them.
But staying on topic, yes I watched the Real Ghostbusters too. I even had quite a few of the action figures. The 80s were all about the action figure!

I had Peter and Egon in those action figures. Ah the memories 8)
Action figures were IT in the 80s. I often wish I could go back to the 80s and visit a toy store so I relive the wide variety of great action figures and playsets. Today's action figures just don't cut it

The Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were my two obsessions in the early '90s, but I don't think I had any of those action figures. My cousin did have the Game Boy game though and still does. :)

This was when I was a kid though, but when I watched the DVD set of Gummi Bears a while ago, all I kept thinking was .. "Man, if I was in Cavin's shoes, I'd take Calla into King Gregor's barn and ..."
... well, let's just say The Gummi Bears would no longer be a kids cartoon :D

Philly, huh?
I don't recall Muppet Babies on 29, though. CBS, yes; but not 29.

Seeing as how this thread's halfway already there by now:
I call for Rule 34 on April O'Neill (TMNT) and Janine Melnitz (aka "that redheaded secreatary from Ghostbusters").

That's disgusting.
Unless it was the scrambled wiggly green/blue stuff on the analog channel, in which case, you're cool.
Ah, the old analog SSAVI (Sync Suppression and Video Inversion) scrambling. Usually scrambled and wiggly, but there'd be the occasional bits when the TV would lock onto the (black) vertical blanking interval against the video portion of the signal, and correctly sync up to display a blue boob on a white (inverted black) background. A few seconds later, either the scene would change (throwing off the sync signal), or the inversion would deactivate (resulting in the really rare phenomenon of a correctly-colored boob and proper sync for about a tenth of a second before the TV was no longer able to differentiate the vertical blanking interval from the no-longer-inverted black background, and you'd be back to staring at pink squiggles for the next 30 seconds. Unless you'd built in a toggle switch on an op-amp to invert the whole signal, and then a square-wave generator (and a trim pot to phase-shift it because the timing was never gonna be accurate for more than a few moments, that you'd have to wiggle back and forth like a makeshift vertical hold control) to fake the TV into thinking it had a sync signal... umm, where was I? Oh yeah. Uphill, both ways! Get off my lawn!
Porn was a gateway drug, alright. It's a gateway drug that leads unsuspecting geeks straight into electrical engineering.
