Subject: Liquid Sky Movie (1982)
Written By: midnite on 06/19/08 at 11:01 pm
Anyone familiar with the art-house film Liquid Sky from 1982-83? Where can I get a copy? It looks insane and the music is extremely bizarre 80's synth.

Ah, Anne Carlisle (see also "Desperately Seeking Susan"). Very cool. It has some music by Brenda Hutchinson, who's an interesting composer.
"Liquid Sky" freaked me out the first time I saw it 'coz I was 14 and not ready for it!
:o
Now it's an '80s high camp favorite, like "Repo Man" and "Smithereens."

I am, I don't know, it is, and it is, in that order.
But for what it's worth, it is worth whatever effort you'll go through to find a copy.

I bought a copy a few months ago without any trouble. Amazon I think.
