Subject: What happened to "Shadow Stevens"?

Hey remember Shadow Stevens from the new 'Hollywood Squares' in the late 80s? He was the announcer for the show I believe he was also a DJ then he had his own 'square'. He developed quite a following the fans were treating him like a rock star. He also had a syndicated Top 40 countdown as well. Then in the 90s he seemed to just fall off is he still working?

Shadoe Stevens is currently the announcer for The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Prior to that, he was the announcer of H²: Hollywood Squares, the 1998-2004 version as hosted by Tom Bergeron.
In the 90s, he co-starred with Harry Anderson (Night Court) and Meshach Taylor (Designing Women) on the popular CBS sitcom Dave's World, season 1 of which is coming to DVD very soon. I can hardly wait!

I knew him when he was on Hollywood Squares.

Same here; specifically, the 80's version of it, with host John Davidson.

I remember that, yes.
He served as the announcer during the entire run, I believe; in this particular episode he did double duty as a panelist...and would introduce himself last at the beginning (that is, after introducing all the other 8 panelists).
