Subject: Song, driving me nutso...
Written By: Liljagare on 05/16/08 at 2:24 pm
Ok, backdrop, girl running in labyrinth (No, not from the Movie with David Bowie) and a vocalist with long blond hair, sort of muscular and playing on a guitar, I am pretty sure that he sang the word "Runawaaaaaaay!" as the girl was running through the labyrinth and there was a chorus with violins and clocks, that also appear floating in the air in the video...
This darn song is one that I just can't figure out who it was, and what the name of it was. It wasn't "Runaway" by Luis Cardenas, nor is it David Bowies Labyrinth related, and I am pretty sure it played for a summer or so on MTV back when... Its not Bon Jovi/Slade related either.. it was a rather pretty tune, that I remember.. :D
Anyone got a few hints or ring a bell on what my poor brain is slightly remembering?? :P

This is a very long shot - could it be Runaway by Jefferson Starship?

What about Runaway train by Soul Asylum ??
IF its that tune, it wouldve been in the early 90's.

First song that came to mind was something by Big Country - possibly Wonderland.
Then I thought of an A-Ha song. I can hear Morten singing "runaway-ay!" but it might also be Simon le Bon of Duran Duran!
Anyway something here might ring a bell with someone! :-\\

sorry, I couldn't resist :D
All I can think of for that song is the 90s eurodance song 'Runaway' by E'voke :-\\

Dreamtime - Daryl Hall

The audio is off and the video quality leaves much to be desired - but I believe this is the video and song you are looking for!
