Subject: Mannequin Depressives (80s Retro)...

I'm shuffling through the submissions on my inthe80s page and one submission consists of a critique of my "80s lingo" chops. This person left an e-mail addy so I contacted them. During a friendly exchange I come to find out the person is a member of a Canadian based 80s retro post-punk group known as the Mannequin Depressives, so I visited their website and checked out a few samples of their work. Very nice! They fashion themselves an 80s (1982 in particular) throwback outfit and their music rocks in an arcane, Depeche Modey, Curey, MTV-ey, totally and distinctively 80s kind of way but it's all original music...
