Subject: What's that song?

Okay, I'm new here and have a question that's been bugging the $%!& out of me. There was a song in the 80's. Male vocals. Rock band. All I can remember of it was that the song started with the guy screaming, "Drop the needle!". It's not in reference to drug use, it was a record player needle. Damn good beat and bass guitar. I had it on LP in my jukebox, but I sold that over 15 years ago. Needless to say, the record went with it.
Does anyone know the song title and/or the artist? Something keeps reminding me of Axle Foley from Beverly Hills Cop. I doubt that's of any help.

The song you are looking for is from 1987 called 'Dance Desire' by the Canadian group Haywire :)

DUDE! YOU ROCK!!! :D :D :D :D Super champ, man! I've been ripping my hair out trying to find it! Even my girlfriend couldn't remember it! And we have identical tastes in music!
