Subject: "Mickey's Christmas Carol" (1983)

Written By: woops on 12/20/07 at 6:04 pm

"Mickey's Christmas Carol" is the best adaptation of the Dicken's story and still get emotional during several scenes like seeing Mickey mourning and Pete as the Ghost of Christmas Future.

Note: First time Allen Young voices Scrooge and last for Clarence Nash to provide voice for Donald Duck.

Also  far cry to the garbage Disney is today.

So, who played the other ghosts?  I know that Goofy played Marley.

There was Jiminy Cricket who played "The Ghost of Christmas Past", a big red-haired giant who played "The Ghost of Christmas Present" (don't know if he was in any other Disney cartoons though) and Pete from Goof Troop as "The Ghost of Christmas Future."

Woops, are you saying this is better than Alister Sim's version?

O, the giant was in Fun and Fancy Free, the last time Mickey was voiced by Walt Disney.
