Hello

My memory is a litle fuzzy...maybe some one can corect me if it is wrong.

The plot involves a monkey (or chimp) being sent into space by NASA (not sure if he was alone or with another human)

Anyways something hapens (while he\they are in space i think) and the monkeys mind gets switched with the humans.

And the monkey need to convince his human son that he is his father...and the kid and monkey team together to reverse the accident.

Any of that sound familiar...for some reason i remember watching it as part of "The Wonderful World of Disney"...Not sure if it was a theatrical release or a made for tv movie.

I've searched all over google without any luck.

Any ideas?... PLease i need your help

I watched a lot of Disney tv movies in the 70s and 80s but can't remember this one. I found it on a Google search - I guess my keywords did the trick.

Too bad they're not available on dvd...nor are they re-aired

And they're not talked about much... no special section on these nostalgia sites....nor any ranking / favorites list

My fave "never talked about" Disney tv movie is The Ghosts of Buxley Hall 1980. By some strange miracle I actually found a VHS of it on ebay so was able to relive my childhood.
