Subject: Something weird in Weird Science

I was watching 'Weird Science' the other day, and noted somethiing that I'd noted in previous viewings. When Robert Downey Jr's character and his friend (Max, they call him Mad Max) decide to drop an Icee onto Wyatt and Gary at the mall, the amount of Icee mix that falls on them is completely disproportionate to the size of the cup it purportedly came from. And not by just a little bit, it is as if an entire bucket of Icee mix descends from the Mezzanine floor, and as if to rub salt into my continuity wound the cup is dropped and when it hits the ground more Squishee comes out. Did Mad Max actually have a bucket of reserved Icee next to him, did Lisa magically increase the cups capacity I want to know.

for all we know and for that matter for all Wyatt & Gary knew, it was supposed to be the regular amount and maybe Robert Downey Jr. and Max did that on their own? now I'm curious becuase I've noticed that in the many times I've seen that film but didn't think to much of it. good observance there dcs84

Uhhhh.....this is a movie in which a couple of dorks hack into the Pentagon computers and make Kelly LeBrock out of old magazine photos and an atomic missile shoots from "Time" through Wyatt's house....
And you're puzzled about incongruent portions of iced lolly beverage?
SOMEBODY SPENDS TOO MUCH TIME ON IMDB!
:D

Interesting, in France it was released as "A creature of dream."
I guess "Une créature de rêve" was catchier than "De Science Etrange"
