Oh yeah, PB was great. My favorite is definitely "Love is a Battle Field," composition, lyrics, arrangement, the whole shebang!
"Shadows of the Night" is an excellent song, but Bruce Stringbean wrote it. Besides, I like Rachel Sweet's version better.
"Hell is for Children" was her best statement. Around the time the song was popular there was a high-profile media case about a couple that starved and battered their children, the boy died from a beating he got because "he wouldn't eat a doughnut." But if he was starving....? Never mind that. That was the first such case I read about and it really creeped me out.
Of course, there was The Ramones' "Beat on the Brat," but that was the Ramones...so....

All Fired Up
I saw Pat live at The Fillmore in San Francisco about 7 years ago and it ranks as one of the best rock concerts I've been too. Her hubby almost stole the show with his awesome guitar work. Pat Benatar is such an excellent performer.
