  These are the ones I know played on MTV in the 80s. don't know any of the others other than Hendrix and the Doors which are 60s.

I liked the Air Supply "lost in love" cuz they started out with the same background as the website it made for a cool cheezy effect.

Other than that if we have to choose from the list associated with the link you gave I choose

Eminem Stan (not 80's but it was on the page)
and the guy who plays the Simpson's theme unplugged cuz it was so random!

Yes, Billy Idol is hot (or at least, he was) so he's my top pick.  Then Don't Look Back In Anger by Oasis, and finally the lovely Paris Hilton - OK, so I was kidding about that last one...
