Subject: The Truth: Playground

Written By: -Stinkyy on 10/28/06 at 7:16 pm

http://www.inthe80s.com/toptens/toptensongs148.shtml

On this page, I found some good info by Wolf on the Prowl about The Truth.  Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to find out much more about this band on the 'net,  much less find their album for sale.

Can anyone help??

Thanks,

Stinkyy :-\\

1983 - A Step In The Right Direction < UK #32 >
1984 - No Stone Unturned < UK #66>
1985 - Exception of Love < CAN #66 >
1987 - Weapons of Love < CAN #61 > < US #65 >

Thanks, Whistledog.

I found a little information on the miami-vice.org website too.

It's surprising that they had some good hits but I can't find them on the net.

I have "Exception of Love" and "Weapons of Love" if you are looking for them :)

Yes, old topic, but you might find this information useful.

1. Go to http://www.ninebelowzero.com/
2. Click on the link to "The Store"
3. Click on the link for "Catalogue"
4. 'Playground' by The Truth is there!

I ordered it from the UK to the US and was made very happy on its arrival.  It's worth it.

Good stuff.  I see that Dennis Greaves,  of this band Nine Below Zero,  used to be in The Truth.

Any info is good info on The Truth as they are so underneath the radar on the web.  Will make a lot of Miami Vice fans happy.
