beware the awful ads on that site...
Andy Taylor isn't happy with the new producer they hired, so he's leaving. That's sure to derail some of their momentum from last year.

Andy Taylor isn't happy with the new producer they hired, so he's leaving. That's sure to derail some of their momentum from last year.
I'm not going to that site per warning of awful ads.
This is no surprise, Andy Taylor first left all the back in 1985. I'm surprised he ever came back. He was much more of a straight-out rock'n'roller than the other lads.

Yeah, his solo effort, Thunder, is a good, solid rock album. Like night and day from the fab five...

I loved "Thunder". It's funny, as a solo artist, he had 2 hits on Billboard, neither one appears on that album ..
"Take it Easy" featured on the soundtrack to "American Anthem"
"When the Rain Comes Down" featured on the soundtrack to "Miami Vice II"

Yeah, Andy Taylor and the late Robert Palmer. Sucked dead donkey dongs. Some people will take offense to that remark, just my opinion. The thing is, Andy Taylor left Duran Duran because of artistic differences, but Andy was a good anchor for the band. When Nick Rhodes started running the show, it all got way too fluffy!

I was happy when they got back together again.
Andy's solo album : thunder was a good album.
