Subject: Mad Movies

Written By: Echo Nomad on 10/14/06 at 12:10 am

Does anyone remember a show during the late 80's called Mad Movies? It was on the same format as MST3K except that the entire movie was sarcastically dubbed by different voices. I remember that it was prettt funny but I was 11\12 so my sense of comedy wasn't very developed so I'm not sure how funny it truely was. Anyway there must of been a lot of work put into these movies because the entire movie was dubbed with a complete alternate story.

"Mad Movies with L.A. Connection."  I think they got the idea from Woody Allen, "What's Up Tigerllily?"  I tried to watch a couple of episodes, but they were so p*ss poor I couldn't sit through them.  It's like they took a bad movie and overdubbed an equally bad parody script...and expected it to be funny.

Now, MST3K rocked!

But that was a '90s phenomenon.

I remember that. I thought it was pretty funny.
