I am looking for a movie that aired on TV sometime in the 80's... that doesn't mean it was made in the 80's but it could have been. All I remember of it was these kids (they may have been Russian) having a big snowball fight in a snow fort. I remember it being somewhat violent. That's all I remember!! Any ideas???

Red Dawn?
The US was invaded by Russia. Teenagers were in hiding and getting ready to fight back. I seem to remember a snowball fight.

dag, that's a good guess. there IS a snowball fight, and i think it happens right before a big dramatic moment.

Yes there is a snow ball fight right before one of the boys dies in the mountains when the tanks rolls in ---One of my favorite movies, I don't like alot of gore but even though it is violient it symbolizes anyone who grew up in the 80's fear of the cold war. GREAT MOVIE...Highly suggest it.

Another possibility is "Cold War".
This is a comedy set in Russia, and there is a snowball fight, where one of the kids hides an ice cube in one, and he hits his rival for the girl he loves, with it.

Unfortunately, that's not the movie, but thank you anyway. I really don't know if I'm even remembering it correctly. I think the scene I'm talking about took place on a street. And it was also the only scene I watched. :LOL: I need to let this go.

The hell you do. You need to remember more of it, and we need to solve it. Ages of the kids? Year you saw it? Fisticuffs as well as snowballs? Rocks embedded in snowballs? Anything?

;D Ok, let me think... What I remember is some kids walking down the street, approaching this snow fort, maybe it was made of ice, and then they were ambushed by other kids, throwing snowballs at them. I don't remember any foul play, like rocks or actual fighting. But I do remember it seeming pretty violent for a snowball fight. There was something ominous about it. But that's really all I can remember... :-[
