Subject: What is your favorite 80s cartoon

I am asking what your favorite 80s cartoon is. Cartoons that have premiered in the 70s and have continued to air in the 80s such as Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids would count. Also cartoon that have premiered in the 80s and have continued to air in the 90s such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Garfield and Friends would count.

I could never narrow it down to one. Maybe GI Joe with Thundercats a close second and then a cute one like maybe The Smurfs or The Ewoks.

I liked "The Raccoons" the best. I never missed an episode of it 8)

I would have to say Super Friends and Scooby-Doo followed by The Smurfs! :)

I loved The Smurfs and Alvin and the Chipmunks. Scooby-Doo is so 70s to me, even though it was popular during the 80s as well. I also liked The Littles, about the little people that lived in the wall.
What is The Raccoons? I haven't ever heard of that one?

I agree with others, it's hard to narrow it to just one. I loved the Strawberry Shortcake shorts, The New Alvin and the Chipmunks, "The Last Unicorn," Garfield & Friends, Inspector Gadget, etc.

Some of my favourites as a child. I haven't seen many of these since the '80s or early '90s, but I remember loving them.
Duck Tales
Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers
The Raccoons
The Real Ghostbusters
Gummie Bears
Captain N: The Game Master (debuted late in '89)
The New Alvin and the Chipmunks
The Smurfs
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Muppet Babies
I think that cartoons of the '80s and early '90s were better than those of today, though of course I'm totally biased toward my own childhood memories.

Transformers, M.A.S.K., G. I. Joe, Dungeons and Dragons, Smurfs, Gummie Bears, Voltron, Robotech, Thunder Cats, Silver Hawks... to name a few...

I also remember D&D, as a cartoon!
My favorite show on Saturday nights was "Wizards & Warriors"- a perfect companion piece!
