I loved this show as a kid. I used to take out a folding chair and watch it with my mom when it came on.

Moonlighting was awesome. I remember Bruce Willis used to sing on the show, which resulted in an album with three hit singles ;D

Yeah, I used to really like that show. Then they finally got David and Maddie together, and it was all downhill. I'm not saying I think a show stinks after they get a couple together, in fact I like it when they get people together in a show as a couple. I blame it on the writers and producers, it was like after they finally got them together, they didn't know what to do with them. And some of the episodes got really lame after that. It was sad. And Cybill Shepherd's character was never happy, it was like she was always depressed. It didn't matter what, the character was never happy and was moody and down all the time. I mean, she was practically suicidal, she was so serious about everything! It was basically life sucks and then you die!
After a while, the show just wasn't fun to watch anymore. Of course, it didn't help that Cybill Shepherd was always being a b!tch and a diva all the time either. Like the world revolved around her, I was in my teens then, and Moonlighting was basically the first time I'd seen her in anything. I had no idea really about all the stuff she'd done before that. But I heard the stories and rumors, and I'd watch her get interviewed, and I think she comes off like one of the coldest most self centered stuck up b!tches I've ever seen. Did you ever hear the story about some grade school class that got to tour the set of Moonlighting, I think they were 3rd or 4th graders, and one of the girls went up to her and asked her for an autograph and she practically screamed at her to leave her alone, how horrible! So, as you can imagine I wasn't a fan of hers for very long, and hearing all this stuff about her also ruined watching the show for me. Not that it was all her fault, I'm sure Bruce Willis wasn't an angel either. I'm no longer a fan of his either, I think his ego got way too big for him too. You gotta sometimes wonder how people like that get their big heads through the door! :P It started out as a real good show and just ended up a train wreck.
P.S., I remember too that Elvis Presley dated Cybil Shepherd for a little while back in the 70s, I can't imagine what he saw in her. She's not even that attractive!:o There are so many actresses that are much more beautiful.

Couldn't have said it better myself. It did get very lame after they got together.
