Subject: Anyone like Missing Persons?

Missing Persons are awesome. They're so cheesy, but Dale Bozzio has such an awesome voice  :-*

Oh yes, I like Missing Persons! They were a cheesy band, but they were contrived as such. Terry Bozzio is actually a world-class percussionist. I've seen Dale Bozzio's, erm, spreads in Hustler. She went more explicit than most pop stars are willing to go!

For such a synthy band, they're actually pretty hardcore.

I only know "Words", which is a cool song in a novelty sense (the beginning's "Do you hear me" part is a little cheesy, but the chorus is pretty catchy).

Their other big song was "Nobody Walks in L.A.," which you've probably heard.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. ;) Good song too, not quite as instantly memorable, but I actually think it's just as good of a song.

Cheesy as they are, they're actually a pretty talented band.  The instruments, vocals, it's just done well.  It's kind of live-sounding for a synth pop band.

Don't forget 'Mental Hopscotch'. And I think the name of the song is 'Walking in L.A.'

I saw Dale Bozzio in a 1981 movie called Lunchwagon. Has anybody here seen it?
