The Soul Queen had a comeback during the mid 80's and released some good pop tunes.
My vote went to 'Whose Zoomin' Who'.

The only one I know is "Freeway Of Love", which came out when I was 5. I think I actually remember hearing it then; for some reason I enjoyed hearing each occurrence of the word "freeway." ;D So that'll be my pick.

I went with "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)"
I think one of the other votes was Tanya's "Jimmy Lee" but no clue who the other other was ;)

I liked I Knew You Were Waiting For Me the best. Loved that song since it came out 8)
I also liked her 1989 Elton John duet Through the Storm.
When you think about it, all those artists are in a hit 80's triangle ...
Elton John sang "Wrap Her Up" with George Michael, who sang "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" with Aretha, who sang "Through the Storm" with Elton. Now all three artists need to record a song together ;D

Regarding 'Wrap Her Up' by Elton John, I only recently discovered that George Michael sang with Elton! When I saw the video I spotted George straight away in his denim jacket and Wayfarers!
All these years and I'd never sussed it... :D
He also sang back-up on "Nikita" from the same "Ice on Fire" album by Elton :)

I'm not too keen on her voice lol, but "Who's Zoomin Who" was a nice mid 80s pop soul effort. One of those feelgood ones.
