Subject: Pee Wee's Playhouse

Pee Wee's Playhouse was a show that came on in the 80's staring Larry Fishburne as Cowboy Curtis ( he was also in Apocolypse Now). I actually thought it was pretty creepy back then, but my cousin had this PeeWee suit and he let me borrow for Nerd Day at school. Anyway, PeeWee's Big Adventure came out and then he had a sequel. Anyway, then he got caught in that porn place and that was the end of Pee Wee's playhouse.
I guess because he was arrested for enjoying himself at the porn movie, they took his show off of tv, since it was a show for kids. Honestly, had he not been arrested and on the news, I would have never known about it and well... I mean, what do you think about the whole Pee Wee being arrested and losing his show thing?

I used to love watching Pee-Wee's Playhouse as a kid! It was an awesome show and I never missed it on Saturday morning. I do remember that some of the show's humor was definitely risque and over the head of most young children at the time. I was disappointed after the entire scandal broke and the show was taken off the air... :-[
